European Vacation 2013

As I wrote the title it made me think of the funny movie with the same name starring Chevy Chase. I know for sure there will be many silly things happen on our trip, as there always are. We are EXCITED for our latest adventure! Trevor and I are currently waiting in the Ottawa airport to depart for Rome, Italy, where our vacation begins.We were to depart at 2:45pm on American Airlines, but due to bad weather conditions In Newark, New Jersey, where we were to change flights, we have been rerouted to an Air Canada flight departing at 7:30 pm via Frankfurt, Germany, arriving in Rome at noon tomorrow. We were so happy when my daughter Tracy invited Trevor and I to join them for one week of their Italian holiday at a holiday villa on the Sorrento coast of Italy! We could not believe our eyes when she sent us an email link to this beautiful place. So off we go to meet up with them there on Wednesday and our funfilled week with them will begin. We have all travelled together before and we have a great time with Steph as our tour guide. “All roads lead to Rome”..as the saying goes…
