Yummy Chinese Breakfast

Yummy Chinese Breakfast

Rebecca took us out to breakfast at a Chinese “shop” and we enjoyed a Chinese omelette and milk tea. We learned so much about the Taiwan culture from her. Such a lovely, likable, kind lady!
Rebecca headed for work and Trevor and I set off by public transportation to Kayla’s in Taipei City which is across the bridge from New Taipei City where Rebecca lives. What a beautiful, friendly girl Kayla (26) is; such a joie de vivre and we had so much fun with her before she had to head to work. Kayla landed herself in Taiwan about 4 years ago(originally from Texas) and got herself a teaching assignment and loves living her). We did a couple of hours of sightseeing with her before she headed to school, then we did our own sightseeing for the rest of the day. We went to the National Palace Museum and the Gillin Night Market( 2 of the top 10 things to do in Taipei). Also checked out and ate at a cool Philly Cheesesteak shop that a young fellow from Philly set up!  We had a great day!
